Atlantis Holiday Apartments in Chelston, Torquay provide the perfect base to explore the English Riviera and South Devon.

There are 5 luxury apartments, all decorated to a very high standard with stylish and contemporary furnishings to make your holiday as relaxed and as comfortable as possible. The Dickens, Brunel and Livingstone apartments can accommodate up to 2 people, and the larger apartments, Nightingale and Darwin can sleep up to 4 people.

Short breaks can be taken during September to June and summer stays are Saturday to Saturday. Some short breaks in July and August may be possible, please call for details.

Each apartment has been fully furnished with modern facilities and appliances including microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, TV and DVD players and Wi-Fi access. All bedlinen and towels are provided for guests. Some apartments have balconies to enjoy the views and the Mediterranean style climate.  There are books and games for all ages, providing hours of entertainment for all the family and children’s facilities on request including highchairs.

For guests using a wheelchair or with limited mobility, Dickens apartment has a wide entrance to the bathroom, grab rails, accessible height toilet and wet room/shower with a seat.  There is an electric adjustable bed and recliner chair. There is ample free parking onsite with one space allocated per apartment as well as 2 disabled bays. The Brunel apartment has a ramp for easy access and there is an electric super king size bed which can be separated, if required into 2 single beds. 

Guests have full use of the heated outdoor pool, sun loungers and patio furniture on the pleasant terrace and decked area. There is also an indoor pool, perfect for additional relaxation and enjoyment.

The Atlantis Holiday Apartments are located in a quiet and verdant area of Torquay within easy walking distance of Torquay Seafront (0.8 miles), Torquay Railway Station (0.2 miles) and the quintessentially-English, Cockington Village and Country Park (1.1 miles). Chelston Village has a good selection of independent shops and cafes, a post office, Vets surgery and a supermarket for your day-to-day needs. Torquay Harbourside and Marina (1.6 miles) is within easy reach and is a hotspot for night-time entertainment with lively bars, traditional pubs, waterfront cafes and independent restaurants to choose from.  There are also some of the top visitor attractions including Dinosaur World, The Real Crime Museum and Living Coasts: Aquarium and Coastal Zoo (1.5 miles).  

The English Riviera’s stunning landscape has attained designated UNESCO Global Geopark status and there are many breath-taking sights and fascinating key sites to explore.  Kents Cavern, one of Europe’s most exciting Stone Age Caves is home to Britain’s earliest humans and Ice Age beasts in Wellswood, Torquay (2.6 miles) and Berry Head National Nature Reserve in Brixham (8.7 miles) are attractions not to be missed during your stay.

Straight on at The Willows traffic lights (Sainsburys, M&S, Boots, Next & petrol station.)Straight on at next traffic lights passed Currys & Mc Donalds on left.Straight on at 4 sets of traffic lights - B&Q, Asda, Old Woods Hill and Shiphay Lane.Follow signs towards the Seafront.When the road becomes 2 lanes get into right hand lane and take the right hand fork into Avenue Road at Torre Station traffic lights. (Halfords) At 2nd set of lights, Torre Abbey, turn right into Walnut Road. Ocean restaurant on corner.Take 2nd left into Rousdown Road. (Just over the bridge). Solsbro Road is the first turning on the right. Atlantis Holiday Apartments are approximately 200m on the right.

Public Transport Directions

Directions to Atlantis Holiday Apartments from Torquay railway station.After arriving at Torquay railway station cross to the other side of the station via the bridge. Exit the station and turn right. This is Solsbro Road. Continue 25m and the road continues left. Take the steps on the right and continue along Solsbro Road passing Tor Mare Court on the right and Solsbro House on the left hand corner. Turn left and Atlantis Holiday Apartments are approximately 200m on the right.
