Revitalise Covid-19 Update
We are currently offering breaks at our Netley Waterside House and Sandpipers centres, these are designed to give guests a change of scenery and some respite, where they can rely on expert care in fully accessible surroundings. These stays are subject to an isolation period of seven days prior to guests’ stay, and a further seven days upon arrival. Guests will be offered a Covid-19 test at the centre and if it comes back negative, their isolation period can be reduced. Later in the year, and in 2021, we hope to be able to offer our usual fun-filled holiday experience at all of our centres.
We’re the people who create revitalising holidays for disabled people and carers. And we want you to have the absolute time of your life! We think a great holiday takes you out of yourself and it can be an adventure, or just a rest, or a new experience with new people.
Our Location
Revitalise Netley Waterside House is located opposite the historic Abbey in the quaint village of Netley, Southampton.
Hampshire, a region oozing with natural beauty, is home to Netley Waterside House. A tranquil waterfront hub that boasts sensational views over Southampton Water and offers you a deeper insight into the area’s storied history. After a day of discovery, watch the sun slowly set over the horizon, whilst you relax in our charming, landscaped gardens.
Expert care support
We know that arranging care for you or your loved one can be difficult. In every Revitalise holiday centre, we have a team of Registered Nurses and Holiday Care Assistants that will take time to get to know you and your care support needs. We are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission and we support people with every type of condition, including multiple sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Carers are welcome to join their loved ones on their Revitalise holiday or can enjoy their own break elsewhere, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands

Whether you’re looking for a city, coastal or countryside break, Hampshire has it all.
First stop - the medieval city of Winchester. Once this country’s ancient capital city, the gothic cathedral has over 1000 years of stories to tell.
Next up are the proud maritime cities of Portsmouth and Southampton. These great ports are home to naval museums, historic dockyards and spectacular views over the Solent and beyond.
But aside from the region’s interesting past, it is also home to spectacular beauty that has inspired the likes of Jane Austen, like glorious coastlines where you can recharge your batteries, unspoilt villages and the spectacular natural beauty of the New Forest.
Guests can expect a minimum of four excursions for a seven-night break.
Excursions may include:
Portsmouth
- New Forest
- Isle of Wight
- Exbury Garden
- Winchester
- Speedboating across the Solent
- Southampton
- Accessible cycling
In-centre activities
Don’t fancy going on an excursion or just want to enjoy a day at the centre? The fun continues through our in-centre activities! Get moving with our accessible Zumba classes, sing your heart out at karaoke or with our live evening entertainment, or take a breather from the action in the small library which faces out to the water.
Please note: The excursions and entertainment on offer vary according to the date and theme of your break. If you are hoping to participate in a specific trip or activity, please ask about the itinerary when booking.
Volunteers
We are proud to have the largest residential volunteering programme of any UK charity. It is our volunteers who bring their youthful energy and friendship that make our guests holidays so special.
