cafe-ODE at Ness Cove in Shaldon is located on the South West Coastal footpath & has spectacular views across Lyme Bay towards Teignmouth. The cafe is next to Shaldon Zoo, Shaldon approach golf course & close to the smugglers tunnel access to Ness Cove. The village is a pleasant 10 minute stroll....

A multi award winning cafe / restaurants listed in the Trenchermans & Good Food Guide 2024, serving family friendly food that does not "cost the earth" Dishes are cooked fresh to order.

Opening from 9:30 am until 4pm ish( Wednesday - Sunday) serving a simple breakfast & lunch cooked in the open kitchen.

Wood fired sourdough pizza feature on a Thursday evening, cooked from the converted horsebox on the upper terrace in the Summer months

( weather permitting). Enjoy the buzz of cafe sounds, licenced bar a selection of locally sourced toppings on hand stretched wood fired sourdough pizza.

Friday & Saturday Suppers ... think grilled Lyme Bay lobster, potted Shaldon brown crab, Labrador Bay rope grown mussels, dishes that might feature could include char grilled local Haldon fallow deer steak with chimichurri or pulled organic pork

The menu changes daily & is dependant on market seasonality & availability. We have an electronic menu where guests can pre order or simply view the menu if planning to visit.
