The Three Daggers

About

The Three Daggers really is a notch above the rest. Not only does it offer a variety of choice on it's seasonal menu sourced with local produce, but it also provides luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation. With lovely high ceiling, each light bedroom has Egyptian cotton bedding and soft white towels. There is also an iPod dock, a flat-screen TV and a contemporary en suite or private bathroom.

A children's playground is in the garden at the back of the pub, or if you fancy something a little further afield then Westbury town centre and rail station are less than 10 minutes' drive away. Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park are both within 30 minutes' drive, and Bath city centre can be reached after a 25-minute train journey.

Built in the mid 18th century this pub has been restored and revamped to a superior standard which will leave you in awe. With its casually sophisticated atmosphere and cosy open log fires in winter, comfy leather sofas to collapse on after a long day at the office and a choice of local ales...it suits either the fine dining type in our restaurant or the more casual approach in our bar and sofa area. With such a friendly team working at The Three Daggers you are sure to have a marvellous time, whether popping in for a drink or having a romantic candlelit dinner for two.

"We stayed in a cottage in Edington for a week in mid september. We had read the positive reviews on this website before our stay and we were not disappointed. Despite the managers being away all week the staff were more than capable, we had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin, Lauren, Jess, Toni and Zay. We were made to feel very welcome with the added bonus that The Three Daggers is dog friendly as we had our dog with is, she was spoilt rotten!! The food was delicious, the pie made with two different pastries was an extremely generous portion and scrumptious :-) the king prawn, chorizo, tomato and chilli linguini was very yummy. We loved the fact that the vegetables were from the local Priory Farm and the homemade chutneys and tomato ketchup were divine!! The lamb burger is a definate must too!! We could go on and on about the food!!! The decor has a homely and contemprary feel, we felt very comfortable here, including when we joined the coffee morning with the locals on a Tuesday morning, a lovely touch. We plan to return next year :-) a superb place to visit. Kate and Mark & Cassie (the dog!!)"

"Stayed at The Three Daggers on our way to the Cotswolds and would definitely like to return. The accommodation was superb, no expense spared with furnishings, bedding and general decor. Loved the idea of the sitting room/kitchen area. A lot of thought has gone into everything in this establishment. Staff were extremely polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the food was also great. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Here's wishing them success with their new venture in a farm shop next door, I have no doubt if as much thought goes into this as with the accommodation they have here, then I am sure it will be another success."

"It is rare these days to be so well looked after on all counts but The Three Daggers at Edington certainly covers all bases and it is a real pleasure to eat there. Even cheery waiting staff - nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful, inderstated decor with a selection of cosy places to sit - I especially liked the dark blue water glasses on the tables and heavy quality cutlery. Someone with taste has equiped this place with thought and consideration for their customers. We have eaten here quite a bit recently and also recommended to friends and family. My only regret is that living within a few miles I am not sure I will ever justify staying in one of their fabulous luxury rooms. Thank you for going the extra mile!"
