Did you know that there are over 300 different sign languages in use? That’s a lot of languages! And what better time to learn one (or more!) of these languages than on International Day of Sign Languages which takes place on the 23rd September every year.
Birds of Paradise Theatre Company is Scotland’s first touring theatre company that employs disabled and no disabled actors. It has been working with theatre makers across Scotland to make theatre more accessible and has recently teamed up with them on the National Theatre of Scotland led Scenes for Survival season, which features work that was created in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

This year’s International Day of Charity falls on 5th September. The day was created by the United Nations and all member states are invited to encourage their citizens to get involved to commemorate the International Day of Charity by raising awareness of charitable acts within their own communities.
