Port Eliot is an ancient hidden gem, a Grade 1 Listed house and gardens which was once a monastery and is the home of the Eliot family for 500 years. The contents of the house reflect the accumulation by the ever prospering family with masterpieces by Reynolds, Van Dyck and an eclectic mix of fine furnishings. The Park and gardens designed by Repton are magical.

Port Eliot opens on 29th February and will close for 2016 on the 26th June. It is open each day except Saturdays. Entry is from 2pm to 5.30pm ,with last admission at 5pm. It will also be closed on the 3rd & 5th June. The Port Eliot Tea Room is open from 11.30pm to 6pm in the Long Gallery.
