World of Country Life in Exmouth is a truly memorable day out for all ages whatever the weather! Located in Sandy Bay on the outskirts of Exmouth this multi-award winning seaside attraction is right on the dramatic Jurassic Coast and close to a whole host of accommodation options and family friendly attractions. World of Country Life offers some of the best family days out in the Devon/Somerset region and has an eclectic mix of museums, animals and play areas, so no matter what you’re into, there is something for everyone.

Guests will love our variety of activities such as the Lamb National, Quacky Races and Total Ferret Wipeout where you can watch our animals racing! The amazing flying displays by our bird of prey and the chance to get up close and personal with the animals are all an added bonus. Other onsite attractions include the Victorian Street with authentic décor, with dress shop, garage and pub all featuring memorabilia from bygone days. For the mechanically minded, the Hall of Transport is a must, it houses one of the largest collections of vintage vehicles, motorcylces and steam engines in the South West. Among the collection are several vehicles used in the filming for hit TV shows, Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge and Parade’s End.

World of Country Life pride themselves on being accessible to all guests and making sure that everyone has a fantastic time during their visit. The various attractions and activities onsite are easily accessible with wide, paved paths and wheelchairs available for loan free of charge throughout the park. There is level access throughout and reception are happy to provide guests with an accessibility map, highlighting the best routes for those with wheelchairs and buggys. Guests with sensory needs or visual impairments are catered for with even and well lit areas. 

Throughout World of Country Life you’ll find interactive activities and exhibitions all of which are easily accessed from a sitting or standing position and there are a selection of interpretation boards featuring large text and pictorial representations where applicable, meaning everyone can learn from our displays.

All staff at World of Country Life receive regular disability awareness training as well as First Aid refreshers, so please do speak to a member of staff on arrival or when booking if you require additional support while visiting us. With oodles of fun to be had, both outdoors and in, you will love your visit to World of Country Life, kids, adults, grandparents and carers call all enjoy a full day and whatever the weather, will take home some incredible memories. It’s a good job there’s the fantastic Farmer Lee’s Food Barn, you’ll need a cuppa or two to refresh after all the excitement! The eateries are equipped to cater to a number of dietary requirements, so speak to a member of staff or check the menus to see what options are available. We’re also working towards becoming more environmentally friendly, so all cups, lids, straws and more are created using compostable materials.
