The Harriet Davis Trust provides four specially adapted self-catering holiday properties in Pembrokeshire, created to enable families with disabled children to enjoy a relaxing seaside holiday together. Each property has been designed around different needs, with specialist equipment and accessible facilities available throughout. The Trust primarily welcomes families with disabled children up to the age of 21, while disabled adults and care homes can also use the properties outside school holiday periods.

Harriet’s House, in the heart of Tenby, overlooks the harbour and is just a short walk from the town centre and beaches. The property is all on one level and sleeps up to six people plus a baby. Facilities include an electric ceiling-track hoist, profiling bed, rise-and-fall bath, adjustable sink and shower chair.

Giltar View, also in Tenby, sleeps up to eight people plus a baby and is just minutes from Tenby’s South Beach and the historic town centre. Arranged over three floors, it has wheelchair lift access and a specially equipped bedroom and bathroom, including a profiling bed, ceiling-track hoist, rise-and-fall bath and adjustable sink.

The Wheelabout, located in Penally just outside Tenby, is ideal for larger families and sleeps up to ten people plus a baby. It has magnificent views towards Caldey Island and the Gower, landscaped wheelchair-accessible gardens and, most notably, its own indoor heated swimming pool with hoist and accessible changing facilities.

Caerwen, on the outskirts of Narberth, offers something different. Specially designed for families with children with autism and other learning disabilities, it provides a low-stimulation environment, secure enclosed garden, soft-play room and additional safety features throughout. It sleeps up to six people plus a baby.

Together, the four properties offer a choice of accessible holiday accommodation, allowing families to select a setting and facilities that best match their individual requirements.
