Cardiff is a great destination for families or anyone who wants to spend their time sober, there are some great historic buildings, museums and art galleries as well as theatres and it is one of the flattest cities in the UK and well served by public transport.
You might have heard that Wales is one of the wettest places in the UK and while it does rain a fair bit, it does also have areas that get more sunlight than Milan on average, so you could feasibly top up your tan while you’re there!
