About

Hotel Gotham Newcastle is no ordinary escape. Set in the city’s former fire and police station on Pilgrim Street, this striking Grade II listed building—originally designed by Cackett, Burns, Dick & Mackellar between 1931 and 1933—has been reimagined as a plush, theatrical destination. Inside, you’ll find a dazzling dining venue and an exclusive club bar, all wrapped in Gotham’s signature flair for the dramatic. It's a place to indulge the senses, unwind in style, and above all, to have fun.

From the very beginning, Gotham was never meant to blend in. It was designed to make a statement—bold, unpredictable, and unapologetically different. At Gotham, we believe that luxury is as important as location and history. We believe style should complement substance, and we are not too taken by the idea of compromise.
