Rosedale Holidays

About

Rosedale is a beautiful wheelchair accessible holiday home, offering the ideal escape for families and groups, set in the beautiful Golden Valley area of Herefordshire. With stunning private gardens, a hot tub (with hoist) and a games room, there is something for everyone.

Sleeping up to ten across five bedrooms, the property and grounds offer step-free access throughout.  Our most accessible bedroom has profiling bed with drop-down padded rails, air mattress, overbed table, and H-track ceiling hoists for safe and easy transfers to and from anywhere in this bedroom and the ensuite wetroom. We have a roll in shower with choice of shower chairs, electric height adjustable sink with mirror, and a closomat toilet with wash/dry functionality.

There are two riser recliner chairs in the lounge, and the dining table is high enough for powerchair users to access too!

Rosedale has stunning and very private gardens with lots of seating areas to choose from.  We even have a stream running through our front ‘secret’ garden – a favoured spot for many of our guests.

Parking for up to 5 vehicles is directly outside the property on our private drive.

Located between Hay on Wye (the town of books) and the historic city of Hereford, Rosedale is perfectly placed for exploring Herefordshire, Abergavenny and the Black Mountains.

A well-stocked village shop, award winning bistro, a café, and two local village pubs (both serving excellent food) are all located under half a mile stroll from the front door, so you will be spoiled for choice.

Herefordshire boasts many historic houses, castles and gardens to visit, and offers a range of activities including paintball, laser tag, clay pigeon shooting, pony trekking, golf, crazy golf, canoeing, kayaking, gliding, bowling, farm parks, Flip Out huge inflatable arena, public swimming pool with slide and wave machine, accessible cycling, fishing, multi-screen cinema, and more. Something for everyone, whatever the weather!

Dogs are welcome at no additional charge and (but are not permitted in carpeted bedrooms - 3 of the 5 bedrooms).  The rear garden is enclosed with 5 feet high wooden panel fencing, and a 3.5 feet high picket gate.

We currently do NOT have facilities for EV charging but can direct you to nearby EV Charge points.
