Sparham Hall Farm is nestled in the beautiful Wensum Valley, in the heart of Norfolk. The farm has been in the family for over 120 years, where we grow a variety of crops on the rolling fields and keep cows on the river meadows. Conservation has always been a vital aspect of the farm – the habitat created through careful regeneration and planting of thousands of trees is home to 885 moths, 32 butterflies, 23 dragon flies, 50 hover flies, 36 mammals, 210 birds and 475 plants. It is also a site of national importance for the arable plants.
In 2019 we began converting two barns into what are now our gorgeous, home from home, holiday Cottages. We have three available to let, either independently or all together making Sparham Hall Farm the perfect place to escape alone or for reconnecting with friends and family.
The Buttery is our fully accessible cottage and sleeps up to four people. All three cottages are five star and award winning gold, with the Buttery winning the Visit England, Rose Award for outstanding customer service and have been awarded silver from Green Tourism.
The Buttery has two bedrooms, with the master bedroom and en-suite wet room being fully wheelchair accessible. The second bedroom has twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Both bedrooms can either be set up with super king or twin beds. The stunning bespoke kitchen has been designed to meet everyone’s needs and the open plan feel gives it a love light and spacious feel. In the living area there is plenty of places to sit, including an electric reclining chair.
Each cottage has its own secure private garden, with The Buttery’s garden being fully accessible. There is a stunning shared courtyard with a water feature and a covered seating area with outside heaters.
We provide everything you will need when staying from bedding and towels to coffee pods and teabags. You can also hire, free of charge, a shower wheelchair, shower stools, beach towels, highchairs, cots and more.
For anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet being located within easy access of the stunning Norfolk coast and the fine city of Norwich you couldn’t find a better location than Sparham Hall Farm.
