We also offer a third, self-contained one-bedroom cottage on-site.
Whilst Gardener’s Cottage is not accessible, it can be a helpful option for extended family members or additional carers who wish to stay nearby while maintaining their own space and independence.
This allows families to holiday together while still having flexibility, privacy, and the reassurance of being close at hand if needed.

The M4 from London to South Wales. Over the Seven bridge.
Travel along the M4 to junction 49 Pont-Abraham where the road becomes the A48 travel towards Carmarthen. (Straight across this roundabout)
Continue to the next roundabout called Cross Hands take the third exit A476 towards Llandeilo.
Travel along this road approx two miles, take the next left onto the B4297 going up a very steep hill for Maesybont and Dryslwyn.
Follow this road for some miles (Take time to look at the view) before travelling down to the bottom
T-junction. Turn left, travel approx 400 yds then turn right. Over river, passing a small derelict castle
of Dryslwyn on your right, carry on to main crossroads, where you will meet the main A40. (Left
Carmarthen, right Llandeilo) Drive straight across for Llanfynydd. Follow paragraph ****
OR coming A40 from Llandovery towards Carmarthen
As you approach Llandeilo you will pass The Plough Inn on your left at the next roundabout you come to, take the sign for Llandeilo to do your shopping unless you have arranged an on-line.
Tesco delivery to the Cottage the co-op store is on the right just after the petrol station.
Come out from Llandeilo the same way back to the roundabout turn left, this by-passes Llandeilo for Carmarthen. A few landmarks....You will pass The Cottage Inn on the left, you will pass a sign for Aberglasney gardens, then you will come to a large green sign Dryslwyn Castle to the left, turn right for Llanfynydd.
**** Passing on route Bryers Park, Dryslwyn Community shop, Locksmiths, Garden Machinery shop, etc on left, a church on the hill, Tractor Sales on right.
Stay on this road for approx four miles. Properties thin out at this point, but continue on and up, passing Pantglas Hall with their log cabins to a T-junction.
Turn right for Llanfynydd.
As you come into the village of Llanfynydd, past the church on your left and continue past the local Pub, the Pen Y Bont Inn, and continue up to the top of the hill, the road bends sharply left sign posted to Capel Issac, as if going out of the village, we are 200 yds up the hill on the right, a low stone walled entrance to Stangwrach Holiday Cottages. You have arrived.
If you get lost in the village please ask for “Stangwrach” as Stangwrach Cottage, Ash Tree Cottage and Gardener’s Cottage are all located on the grounds of Stangwrach, Graces place.
Please come down Stangwrach drive to the main house, text use you have arrived, I will direct you to your parking area, and the property you are staying in.
To get the most of staying here you will need a vehicle as public transport is limited.
