Trevassack Holidays

About

Here at Trevassack Holidays we have made it our mission to provide enabling holidays, with everything made with you in mind. Our vision is one of inclusivity, a centre of excellence and much-needed facilities where you can spend time with friends and family, making memories to last a lifetime. Our entire site is disabled-friendly, with wheelchair access throughout and additional equipment available for those that need it – we provide accessibility equipment free of charge, because we believe you shouldn’t have to pay extra to enjoy the same holiday as everyone else.

The three luxury lodges are best suited to those with additional needs for disabled holidays Cornwall – they’re fully fitted with integrated mobility aids but not skimping on the luxuries, with level outside space and low-set private hot tubs in your deck (mobile hoist available on request). The three quirky cabins are more suited for limited mobility with additional equipment available on request.

The watersports are available to all – Trevassack Holidays is owned and run by not-for-profit charity, Children’s Sailing Trust, who run CST Experiences on the lake and Helford River. You can book full sailing courses and powerboat qualifications on the river, or simple fun and games with paddlesports on the lake – with or without an instructor. Bring your own kit for self-launch, or hire ours to save space in the car – there’s a 15% discount on activities for holiday guests – then dry off and treat yourself to a sit down in the lakeside café where brunch is served daily.

Half of our holiday cottages are dog friendly and all have private hot tubs, so they are the perfect accommodation for exciting family holidays in Cornwall.

We won the coveted Gold award at Cornwall Tourism Awards specifically for Accessibility and Inclusivity but we’ve only been open a couple of years so love to hear your personal thoughts and experiences to help us keep improving our offering for all ages and abilities.

We recommended that you follow a route to Helston the nearest town. Trevassack Lake is just over 5 miles from Helston. When reaching the outskirts of Helston follow signs for the A3083 The Lizard. Continue on this road and you will pass the Royal Naval Airbase - RNAS Culdrose. As you come to the end of the Naval Airbase you will reach a roundabout joining with the B3293 - St Keverne, Gweek and Coverack. Take the first exit onto the B3293. Continue on the B3293 at next roundabout take the third exit, stay on the B3293. After 1.5 miles you will see a turning on your right almost opposite two large granite gateposts to Trelowarren. Turn right here and follow the road carefully for half a mile. You will come to the entrance to Trevassack Holidays and Trevassack Lake on your left, clearly signed.

Enter the car park and go through the security barrier – the code is on your arrival details, along with directions and keycode to your property

Public Transport Directions

We are in a very rural location, though only ten minutes drive from the large town of Helston. A bus route stops at the top of our road, but it is then a good 10 minute walk to site, for those who are fully mobile.
