Wingate Holidays offers children and adults with additional needs and their families a relaxing, comfortable break in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.
Located in an idyllic spot in Wrenbury, near Nantwich, our fully accessible self-catering accommodation will give you the chance to enjoy a stress-free holiday.
That means a break where you don’t have to worry about access and other issues. Instead, you can enjoy our range of on-site facilities like our Sunshine Café, Sensory Room and three acres of outside space, including an accessible play area and pizza oven.
Our accommodation has been carefully designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, so children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can be fully included in their family or group break.
Situated on the ground floor with level access throughout, our holiday suites include ceiling hoists and fully accessible en-suite wet rooms, wide doorways and plenty of space to move freely.
Room 6 is an en-suite twin room that sleeps two. It has a ceiling hoist and a wet room with roll-in shower and drop-down grab rails.
Room 7 is a two-bedroom suite that sleeps four in two twin rooms. It has an en-suite wet room with roll-in shower and drop-down grab rails, and one of the bedrooms has a ceiling hoist that connects straight through to the wet room.
All guests share a fully accessible self-catering kitchen, equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. There’s also a shared lounge where you can relax and watch TV, and plenty of free on-site parking.
Wingate Holidays sits within The Wingate Centre, a fully inclusive centre providing recreational activities and residential services for children and adults with SEND.
Location
The village of Wrenbury and surrounding area offer a range of pubs, shops and other amenities, while the charming market town of Nantwich is close by with a choice of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, events and attractions.
You’ll be centrally located within easy reach of Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Wales and other parts of the UK, and there’s a choice of accessible local attractions like Chester Zoo, the Ice Cream Farm and BeWILDerwood all less than an hour away.
