Experience a Glamping Holiday
Accessible Glamping with Experience Freedom from £69* per night
Experience Freedom offers glamping holidays at nine locations across the UK with two sites offering accessible glamping accommodation. Our sites at Troutbeck, in the Lake District and Cayton Bay, on the North Yorkshire Coast, have accessible glamping pods and cabins suitable for guests with a range of accessibility needs and include features such as level entry, wide doors for easy wheelchair access and at least 1.5 metre turning circles where you need them as well as a stylish wet room with top of the range accessible features and a custom-built kitchen with appliances to help make light meals and snacks.
Cayton Village, Cayton Bay, North Yorkshire:
Located just four miles south of Scarborough, the site is within a mile of the magnificent Cayton Bay – ideal for a classic bucket-and-spade holiday enjoying ice creams, relaxing on the golden sands and exploring rock pools. We offer luxury glamping pods, which sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children, spacious glamping cabins that sleep up to 6 people (max 4 adults), plus universally accessible glamping pods and cabins for those with mobility needs. The universally accessible glamping pods sleep up to 3 people (max 2 adults) and the universally accessible glamping cabins sleep up to 5 people (max 3 adults). Prices start from £69* per night.
The accessible glamping pods and cabins provide family living without compromising on space. They include a twin bed with orthopaedic mattresses, a BBQ station suitable for disposable BBQs and free Wi-Fi. Accessible parking is also available near to the glamping pod.
With Scarborough and Filey on the doorstep, as well as Whitby and Bridlington within a short drive, there is plenty of seaside resort fun to be had and coastal walks and scenery to enjoy. The stunning North Yorkshire Moors are also within easy reach, as are the picturesque harbour and seaside towns of Robin Hood's Bay, Runswick Bay, Staithes and Sandsend. On the site itself is a children’s playground, shop, laundry facilities, nature trail and much more. A chip shop and village store are just a five minute walk away too.
