You are here: Advice for Travellers > Accessible travel with TransPennine Express
TransPennine Express is the intercity train operating company for the North of England and into Scotland, connecting key towns and cities with fast, high quality rail services. Our vision is ‘We’re Going Places’.
We are committed to delivering consistently excellent customer service, making journeys accessible and convenient for all our customers. Our aim is to provide an accessible and welcoming railway for all that can be used at ease, and we will ensure that your needs are properly considered in all aspects of service delivery. The end goal is enabling you to travel confidently and as independently as possible, now and in the future.
If you need it, assistance can be provided for your train journey, even if it includes a train operated by another company. This could include a ramp to board / alight the train, a sighted guide, help with navigating through the station, assistance with your luggage, or a station wheelchair or buggy.
Our dedicated team can book your assistance up to 11 weeks in advance, or you can turn-up-and-go if you need more flexibility. Give us a call on 0800 107 2149 24 hours a day, or visit our website.
