About

A nostalgic 5.5 mile round steam train ride, through the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside and visitors can travel all day on the same ticket. The railway is home to over 40 steam, diesel, electric locomotives with a 1 mile extension soon to open, so the train can go all the way to the colliery in Dilhorne. Enabling visitors to travel on the steepest standard gauge preserved railway in the UK (1:19 gradient).

Approx 10-15 minutes easy walking distance away (slight up hill walk) Bus routes stop near to the Blythe Bride main line station (Phone First Bus Company 08708 500868) Accessible by Public Transport: Blythe Bridge station is 1 mile away.
