The contemporary New Royal Bath is home to some of Bath’s most iconic spa facilities, including the open-air Rooftop Pool, where guests can relax in thermal waters while enjoying panoramic views across the city’s historic skyline. Inside, the spacious Minerva Bath provides a tranquil setting for relaxation, while the Wellness Suite features a range of restorative experiences, including an infrared room, ice chamber and aroma steam rooms. Guests can also visit the Springs Café to enjoy refreshments during their spa journey.

Road Directions

Thermae Bath Spa is located in Bath Street, 200 yards from Bath Abbey, in the city centre. From the M4 motorway, exit at Junction 18 and follow signs for Bath City Centre. The spa is within walking distance of all central car parks and Park and Ride stops. Park and Ride services operate from Lansdown (north), Odd Down (south), and Newbridge (west), with drop-off points a 5–10 minute walk from the spa.

Public Transport Directions

Bath Spa railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk from Thermae Bath Spa, with regular direct services from London Paddington (approx. 80 minutes) and Bristol Temple Meads (approx. 15 minutes). National Express coaches run from London Victoria, Heathrow, and Gatwick to Bath. Local bus services also stop in the city centre, within easy walking distance of the spa.
