Our mission is to rescue and rehome alpacas and llamas from all over the country and give them a wonderful new home with the very best of care, while bringing people in touch with the landscape and the natural world through outstanding alpaca and llama experiences, accessible to all and surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site.
Walking Alpacas at The Lingholm Estate.
- Suitable for all ages.
- The walk is a flat gentle stroll (at alpaca pace!) suitable for all abilities/mobilities and can be adapted for wheelchair users (Private Walks only).
- If you require the walk to be adapted for any mobility issues or the use of a wheel chair please tick the relevant box during the booking process and leave details of any requirements in the space provided so our guides can plan your activity. - Site facilities include a large cafe & bakery with indoor and outdoor seating, washrooms and disabled toilets, carparking and disabled parking, walled garden, grounds, jetty onto Derwent Water.
- The Lingholm Estate has a disabled toilet in their large cafe situated 50 yards from the disabled car park, all on level access. The cafe is located centrally on site and easy to access from our activity points.
