At the Planetarium the primary activity is the education and the distribution of scientific and technical knowledge. We strive to promote the understanding of astronomy and science to audiences of all ages, from nursery to life long learners via our STEM based education programme and science outreach offerings.
Travel through the galaxy in our state of the art Digital Theatre, and get hands on in our many workshops. Our aim at Armagh Observatory and Planetarium is to support and encourage everyone to explore, discover and ask questions about our world and beyond. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
