We house a mix of tropical fish from around the world, as well as many that are native to the UK’s waters, so you can get a better understanding of the creatures that live on home shores and further afield.
We’re also the only aquarium in the UK to feature a giant botanical house, known as our Urban Jungle. You can find hundreds of exotic plant and tree species from around the world here, as well as our open-topped Rays display and Amazon pools – just watch you don’t get splashed!
Our dedicated Even Calmer days create a more relaxing sensory experience for any customers who may need it. We will be turning off our music, and children’s rides to reduce any unexpected noises. We also increase our lighting in some of our darker areas throughout the day to create a more consistent sensory experience throughout the aquarium. Please see here for the Even Calmer dates.
