The secret's out and children are shouting about their new favourite place to go!

Discover Dorset’s Award Winning Treasure, designed specifically for children aged eight years and under.

A recreational day out that still represents great value for money and where little adventurers can frankly ‘let their hair down’ without older children around to stifle their enjoyment! Children can easily stay occupied for hours.

Farmer Palmer’s Address is: Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park Organford Poole Dorset BH16 6EU

You can get to Farmer Palmer’s via Car, Taxi and Public Transport (Bus).

The nearest Bus is the Number 40 from Poole/Swanage, it will bring you to the bottom of our drive.

If travelling by Train, the nearest is Holton Heath Train Station and you will require a taxi from there.

Alternatively, a train to Poole or Wareham and then use the Number 40 bus to Farmer Palmer’s.

It’s always a great time to visit the farm and meet beautiful animals. Hold adorable guinea pigs, bottle/hand feed goat kids, watch a real live milking demonstration and explore acres of adventure!

Our Welcome All and Autism Friendly training gives you great personal service. We are designed with ramps, wide doors, and pride ourselves on helping you get the most out of your day. Our award-winning team go above and beyond to bring you the warmest welcome and the biggest smiles! They are approachable, enthusiastic and totally understanding of the needs of our visitors.

Many attractions claim to be all-weather and Farmer Palmers really is!

With both indoor and outdoor play and animal areas, soft play, sand and splash zones and much moooore! The “Little Farmers Fun Barn” encourages imaginative and sensory play where your young ‘farmers in training’ can feel part of the extended farming family.

There are two sets of accessible toilet and baby change areas at Farmer Palmer’s

The Hen House Restaurant has two accessible Toilets and Baby Change Room available with extra baby change facilities in the female toilets.

There are also some (New in Feb 2020) accessible toilet facilities adjacent to the Little Farmer’s Fun Barn. There are two large rooms built so that a buggy, wheelchair and mobility scooter can all manoeuvre freely inside. These are known as the ‘Family Rooms’.

There is a third large round room also in this area. It features an adult table inside.

There are also three cubicle toilets inside.

All these rooms are fitted with Baby Changing facilities.

The Hen House café is your perfect pit stop for ‘re-fuelling’! Serving traditional home-made meals cooked on site and, of course, delicious home-made cakes too. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free requirements all taken care of. They really have thought of everything; highchairs, baby changing, and microwaves for bottles. If you, as parents, opened a children’s attraction this is what it would be like!

Customer’s say –

“It's not big, it's not commercial, it is actually run by the Palmer Family – they are real people!”

TripAdvisor Review April 2019:

“I recently visited with my sister and our sons (14, 8 and 7) during the busy Easter holidays.

We were initially a little concerned about how busy it would be as our two youngest boys are severely disabled and my son in particular struggles with crowded places, taking turns, waiting in queues etc. For this reason we had decided that we probably wouldn’t be able to take one of the tractor and trailer rides even though we knew the boys would enjoy it because the wait was quite long, which can cause my son to become very distressed and aggressive. My sisters little boy cannot stand for any length of time but as luck would have it Mrs Palmer came across me in the restaurant a little later (I think I was squinting at the menu from a far and probably looking perplexed!) and asked me if there was anything she could do to help. So I mentioned to her our issue with regards to the tractor rides. In literally no time at all she’d spoken to the member of staff who was driving the tractor and they arranged a space for us to be saved at the back of the trailer so that we could get on without having to queue.

We had a lovely ride and my son flapped his hands and laughed with delight (he can’t speak) the whole time, it was definitely the highlight of his day. We also enjoyed the woodland walk, the bouncy castle, the play areas and looking at the animals. The food from the restaurant was good quality and fairly priced and there was plenty of spaces outside to sit and eat in the sun.”
