As one of the UK’s most accessible visitor attractions, The Deep welcomes everyone to discover awe-inspiring marine life, from sharks, sawfish, turtles and stingrays to playful penguins and mesmerising jellyfish. Stroll through the spectacular underwater tunnel as sharks glide overhead, relax in the tranquil jellyfish exhibit, or enjoy the daily talks and artefact handling sessions, offering an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
Accessibility has been carefully considered throughout the attraction. Step-free access is available across the site, with lifts serving every floor and accessible parking close to the entrance. Complimentary wheelchairs, walking aids and a limited number of mobility scooters are available to borrow, while accessible toilets and a fully equipped Changing Places facility provide additional peace of mind.
Visitors with sensory or hidden disabilities are well supported, with free sensory packs available from Reception, a downloadable Social Story to help plan ahead, quiet spaces on request, and participation in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme. Assistance dogs are warmly welcomed, and free admission is available for essential carers accompanying visitors who require support.
Take a break at The Plaice café, serving breakfasts, meals, sandwiches, cakes and snacks, or enjoy your own food in the indoor Picnic Plaice area before browsing the Deep-Artment Store for marine-inspired gifts and souvenirs. Better still, every standard admission ticket becomes an Annual Pass, giving unlimited free returns for 12 months. Open all year round, The Deep offers the perfect all-weather day out, while every visit supports its work as a conservation and education charity dedicated to protecting the world's oceans.

Easily accessed from the A63, The Deep is a 15-minute drive from the Humber Bridge and has on-site parking.
If using a Sat Nav please enter the postcode HU9 1TU. This will take you to Tower Street, Hull, which is the nearest main road to The Deep.
The Deep has its own car park with has its own pay and display car park, charges are £4.50 for 5 hours 6am-6pm and £2 6pm-6am. Charges apply every day including bank holidays. Please display a valid ticket in your windscreen.
Train times into Hull can be found via National Rail. Then, it's just a 15-minute walk from Hull Paragon Interchange to The Deep.
A Park and Ride facility is available from Priory Park, Hessle. This is 5 miles west of Hull on the A63 approach road into the city. It is signposted from the A15, A63 and the Humber Bridge. This service drops you off down Tower Street, just 2 minutes walk from The Deep.
A number of services also travel nearby from Hull Interchange. For up to date information on bus timetables from Hull Interchange to The Deep please visit the Stagecoach and EYMS websites or call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 open daily from 8am - 8pm (calls to Traveline cost 12p per minute, plus any charges your network provider makes).
