Woburn Safari Park offers an escape to the wild plains, jungles and savannahs of Africa without leaving the country! Teeming with amazing wildlife, your journey will take you just a windscreen width away from a huge number of endangered and exotic animals, including rhinos, elephants, lions, bears, tigers, zebra and giraffe.

The Bedfordshire based Safari Park offers visitors a fun family day out, where you can enjoy seeing wild animals in an outdoor open space, including a Road Safari drive-through which takes 60-90 minutes to complete, followed by a Foot Safari walkaround areas with free play areas, food outlets and a gift shop. Park for free and explore at your pace.

With free parking, loads of indoor and outdoor activities and a full programme of keeper talks and demonstrations all included in your ticket price, a day out at Woburn is super value for money.

Communication boards are used to help share messages with others. They are for everyone to use but can especially help children and adults who can understand more than they are able to say. They can use these boards to express themselves and interact with others. They have words, pictures and symbols and can also help individuals understand new words.

  • Dietary requirements catered for - A selection of food is offered for a range of dietary requirements. 
  • Quieter table  - A table located in a quieter area is available, where noise is minimised. 
  • Table service as standard or on request   - Table service is available as standard or on request. 
  • Wheelchair-accessible food and beverage outlet - There is at least one wheelchair-accessible food and beverage outlet on site.

  • Assistive listening system - There is an assistive listening system available e.g. a hearing loop.   
  • Changing Places toilet - There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.  
  • Emergency alarm with flashing lights - There is an emergency alarm with flashing lights, to alert deaf guests to a fire or other emergency scenario. 
  • Emergency evacuation plan for disabled people - Personal or General Emergency Evacuation Plans are in place for disabled customers. 
  • Enclosed outdoor area - There is an enclosed outdoor area for customer use. 
  • Facilities for assistance dogs - Facilities are available for assistance dogs e.g. water bowls, toilet area, within the grounds of the venue or nearby. 
  • Fast-track queuing - Fast-track queuing is available for disabled customers.  
  • Lift  - There are lift(s) available.  An evacuation chair should also be available in case of emergency.
  • Map / floorplan showing accessibility facilities - A map or floorplan showing accessibility facilities is available.  
  • Step-free access to all or most areas - There is step-free access to all or most areas. This may include access by ramp or lift. As a minimum, there is step-free access to an accessible toilet and at least one food and beverage outlet, where available. 
  • Step-free entrance - There is step-free access at the main entrance or an alternative entrance. This may be via a ramp or lift. 
  • Wheelchair-accessible toilet in public areas - A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users, and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements, is available within the main public areas.

From J13 of the M1 and from the A5:

Follow signs to Woburn Safari Park. Use the postcode MK43 0TU for your satnav for the entrance gate on High Street in Ridgmont.
