Jenny McGee
Jenny joined the Board of Trustees in 2017 and is looking forward to contributing to the organisation’s ongoing success. She brings with her extensive experience from a career spanning customer service and relationship management; information provision; corporate communications and crisis management and tourism policy development. At VisitEngland, the national tourist board, Jenny was instrumental in the development of a strategic framework for tourism development; led VisitEngland’s signature industry engagement events, English Tourism Week and the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, and championed the visitor experience through the national quality assessment schemes and VE’s work encouraging access for all. Jenny is a passionate advocate for the benefits that tourism can bring to the UK economy and its potential to offer life-enhancing experiences for all.
