Welcome to Bosinver Farm Cottages – winners of the 2023/4 Cornwall Tourism Silver Award for Accessible and Inclusive Tourism
Laid out much like a small hamlet, Bosinver is unique. Set in a tranquil valley not far from the south coast of Cornwall, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, our 20 holiday cottages sit in 35 acres of wildflower meadows and beautifully landscaped gardens.
From the traditional to the ultra-modern and cottages sleeping from 4 to 12, Bosinver really has a cottage to suit everybody. With stylish interiors and open plan living spaces, no matter which of our cottages you choose, we know you’ll enjoy every detail we’ve lovingly put in place for you. You can be sure too that your holiday at Bosinver need not cost the earth! Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do and we are pleased to have won many awards for our ‘green’ achievements.
We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and personal service – most of our guests return year after year and people often find us through recommendation from friends. We understand that every guest has different needs and we aim to make our cottages and facilities available and accessible to all our guests equally, wherever possible. Our staff have all had accessibility training from Access Cornwall and we will always do our best to accommodate any specific needs you may have – please just get in touch before your stay.
Many of our cottages are suitable for people with limited mobility as they are single storey with level access and parking right outside the door including Pentree, Trerose, Cherry, Well Close and Pear. Some also have large walk in showers – all with grab rails and non-slip mats for extra comfort.
Buddleia sleeping 4, Olearia sleeping 6 and Lowen sleeping 8 and reception, the laundry, play barn, pool and games room are all wheelchair accessible. We also have a shower wheelchair and shower stools can be provided on request.
For neurodiverse family members, if being amongst groups of people is challenging then we can arrange individual sessions of feeding and petting our animals with Farmer Dave. We can also arrange a pony ride at a time which doesn’t involve queueing. Our heated indoor swimming pool sessions are also pre-bookable for one family at time. Our play barn has a soft play area and the whole family can chill out there. We also have acres of wonderful peaceful outdoor areas for quiet time in nature and a birds nest basket swing large enough for an adult to use too. We have a sensory box with a variety of tactile toys plus bed guards and booster seats plus a raft of other equipment guests can borrow.
For allergy sufferers 10 of our cottages are kept per-free and we provide non-allergenic bedding, Paraben-free hand soap and products and non-bio washing powder. We also have freezer meals available and specific dietary requirements can be catered for if requested in advance. For the hard of hearing we have a portable hearing loop in office and sound monitors for carers.
