Maidensea House is a purpose built luxurious holiday home with 8 ensuite bedrooms, to accommodate up to sixteen people. With one ground floor accessible bedroom and easy wheelchair access to all the communal areas and the beautiful gardens, Maidensea House was designed with multi-generational family holidays firmly in mind. The large and well designed social areas are perfect for groups to entertain in comfort and style, and spend quality time together, building memories that will last.
From the moment you arrive, you will relax into the panoramic sea views. Situated in an outstanding elevated position in the peaceful village of Maidencombe, just 500 metres from the beach, by the South West Coast Path and a short walk to the delightful village pub. A cinema room, indoor heated swimming pool and a separate games room for table tennis and pool, provide year-round indoor entertainment.
The dining table seats sixteen, as does the outside patio table, so everyone can eat together either indoors being warmed by the wood burner or outside basking in the sunshine on the glorious terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped so whether you wish to cook for yourselves or use one of the excellent chefs we have worked with, your catering needs should be well met.
All the bedrooms are different and all the ensuite bathrooms are unique and stylish all with wetroom style digital rain showers. The beautiful cotton linen from the White company, combined with comfortable mattresses and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, should enable you to enjoy a perfect night’s sleep under the peaceful and near dark skies of Maidencombe. The ensuite to the downstairs bedroom has a level access shower large enough for a wheelchair, this is fitted with a support rail, and a shower seat is available if desired. The toilet is “comfort Height” and a frame can be provided, and a wheelchair user can easily access the basin which is fitted with lever operated taps.
Located in the heart of the English Riviera there are a wealth of activities to enjoy either on land, on water, on the beaches or in the air. We are happy to offer advice if you have any special needs or require any further information to make your holiday perfect.
