The winners for this year’s Blue Badge Awards have been released with two Tourism For All members making the list. The awards range from most inclusive design to best hotel and best employer and take into account several criteria.

This year the award for most inclusive venue went to The Deep in Hull with accommodation Omnipods receiving Highly Commended.

The People’s Choice Award was given to Cottages in the Dales, with G Live in Guilford receiving Highly Commended.

In the Above and Beyond Category, Jo Dewhurst at the Moor Hall Hotel was named winner with the UK charity, Attitude is Everything being Highly Commended.

Best Hotel (upmarket) went to Sea Containers while the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester was named Best Boutique Hotel.

The Best Bar Awards went to 1881 per Sagardi (upmarket) and Caya Club (Budget) with the Three Chimneys in Skye and Hicce King’s Cross winning in the best restaurants category with upmarket and budget respectively.

Ashington’s Woodhorn Museum was given the Historic England Listed Building Award. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre received the Leonard Cheshire Award for Inclusive Employment with M Restaurant getting Highly Commended and Jeannine Cubbin at Anfield Catering was named Employee of the Year with Jo Dewhurst at the Moor Hotel receiving Highly Commended.

The award ceremony also named Mere London as having the best accessible toilets.
