Dorset Blind Association's ever popular dining in the dark event is back for another year. This annual event, which is held to raise money for Dorset's blind and visually impaired community allows diners to experience what it is like to be blind for the evening, while enjoying a six course meal.

Dining in The Dark is taking place at Bournemouth’s Escoffier Restaurant on Thursday March 19th, with guests arriving at at 6:30pm for a 7pm sit-down.

As has always been the case with this event, the focus is very much on putting yourself into the shoes of a person with sight loss, donning a blindfold to using your remaining senses to ascertain just what you’re eating from a surprise six-course menu (and also, how to get it from the plate and into your mouth in the first place).

Tickets are £40 pp and are available directly from the office on 01202 712865 or 712864.
