Paralympian Libby Clegg, who is legally registered blind has wowed audiences during her stint on Dancing on Ice, finishing the competition in third place.

Partnered with Mark Hanretty, a pro skater, Libby took part in several performances involving dangerous stunts and moves, all while being legally registered blind, scoring a perfect 40 on two occasions.

After being announced as third place, Mark Hanretty said: “Time spent with Libby and seeing the challenges that she faces with such positivity have made us all better people.” While show judge, Christopher Dean, said: “Thank you so much, I’m so happy that we’ve got a woman here on International Women’s Day. We’ve thrown everything at you over the last ten weeks and you stood up and took it all. I’m so proud of you congratulations.”

During one routine set to the song Reach by Gloria Estefan, judge Jayne Torvill and fellow contestant, John Barrowman were both moved to tears.
