Channel 4 has pledged that more than 70% of the presenters for the upcoming Paralympic Games will be disabled.

Presenters for the event, which is taking place in Tokyo through August and September, will include Ade Adepitan, Sophie Morgan, Ed Jackson, JJ Chalmers, Adam Hills, Arthur Williams, Alex Brooker, Rosie Jones and Dame Tanni-Grey Thompson.

They will be assisted throughout the coverage by Lee McKenzie, Vick Hope, Clare Balding, Steph McGovern and Josh Widdicombe across a number of Paralympic programming.

Channel 4 has said that it would be the largest number of disabled presenters ever seen on UK television.
