Over this autumn, there will be several developments taking place at Slimbridge WWT. From 24th October, the Welly Boot Land area will be closed so that improvements can be made to the area, including new play equipment and new surfacing.

The new area will include sustainable play equipment, with lily pad trampolines, climbing trees, log tunnels and more with a wetland theme and areas for water play. The whole site will have improved accessibility, with levelled surfaces and play equipment.

That isn’t the only change coming to Slimbridge – opening in December this year will be a new Changing Places facility, which will be located opposite the Rain Garden.
