Birchcroft-Hideaway and Marsham Court, both in Dorset, are celebrating after learning they have been made finalists in the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award category at this year’s Dorset Tourism Awards.

Both accommodation providers have previously won awards for their accessibility options, with Birchcroft receiving Gold in last year’s Dorset Tourism Awards.

Now they just have to wait to hear whether they will be awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold, with the award ceremony taking place on 26th January. All winners will be fast tracked into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards that take place in March and could then go on to win at the Visit England Awards for 2023.

Organiser of the Tourism Awards, Robin Barker, from Services for Tourism, said: “In what is a tough environment for everyone, it is heart-warming to read these fabulous businesses who have continued to innovate and excel. My heartfelt congratulations to them all.”
