Unicorns and Dragons for Half Term at Fairytale Farm

Fairytale Farm's annual unicorn event just got bigger. This May Half Term (27th May to 4th June) they will be running a brand new event called ‘Once upon a Unicorn and Dragons’.

Farm owner, Nick Laister, said: "Our annual Once Upon a Unicorn event is always one of our most popular. This year, unicorns are joined by another mythical creature in the form of dragons. The unicorns and dragons will sprinkle some colourful magic around the Farm right through the May half term week."

The event has activities running all day, from 10am to 5pm, as Nick explains: "There is so much happening each day throughout the half term week. You can get crafty in the Mythical Craft Marquee. See the magical story ‘A Dragon’s Tale’ told through puppets, scenery, music and sound effects in our Mythical Cabaret Theatre, with three shows per day. Become a Unicorn Knight or a Dragon Knight in our Knight’s Quest trail activity. Meet the Unicorn Queen and learn how to sing and dance to her whimsical tune. You can also pose for a photograph with the Queen and her enchanting unicorns under the rainbow. And if you come dressed up as any fantastical beast you will receive a sweet treat on arrival."

The half term week will also be a chance to explore Fairytale Farm's new £250,000 magical land, Fairy Dell. Nick adds: "We are so excited about launching our spectacular new play area, which is unique in the UK. Entering this immersive new area, you will be reduced to the size of fairies, with giant toadstools, raised walkways and bridges, crawl tunnel, clamber net, climbing wall and slides. It's also wheelchair accessible with a series of sensory experiences. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the country."

The new Wilderness Walk area, which is being formally launched on 25th May, will also be fully open for the half term. No special tickets are needed for this event. Just book standard admission tickets. There is a 10% discount if booked online.
