LEVEL Centre are pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Fantastic for Families Audience Impact and Innovation Award for their Youth Collective Project, which is aimed at young people aged 13-18 years old who are autistic or neurodivergent.

This award recognises the achievements of creative organisations or cultural event organisers who have demonstrated innovation and adaptability to reach families in need and make a real difference.

Speaking about the awards, Anna Dever, Executive Director of the Family Arts Campaign, said: “Now in its tenth year, the Fantastic for Families awards continues to be an amazing opportunity to share and celebrate the brilliant and inspiring work created by the cultural sector. This year’s nominees have all demonstrated how creative and cultural opportunities can make a real difference to families, older people and the wider community. In particular, the awards demonstrate how the arts sector is crucial to broadening opportunities for vulnerable families and those who are in need.”

The LEVEL Youth Collective group is led by Imogen Ashbu supported by Lucie De Lacy. Imogen creates safe spaces for everyone can be themselves and where they can play and experiment creatively together. Our Youth Collective programme has been transformational not just for the participants byt also for the parents and carers.
