My MS Woof is back for another year and anyone with access to a dog is welcome to join in! Every year in October, the MS Society encourages people all over the UK to join in with their yearly dog walking challenge in which anyone with a dog (whether it’s your own or borrowed!) can sign up to walk, run, stroll or roll 130km. Why 130km? It’s because over 130,000 people live with MS in the UK.
The MS Woof is open for anyone to join in – just remember that under 18s will need an adult to register for them. Not only is it a great way to get out and about and enjoy the autumn season but it is also a way to improve your health and wellbeing while raising money and awareness for the MS Society.
To get involved, all you need to do is sign up here.
You will then be given your own JustGiving page to track sponsorships and you and your dog will get a t shirt and bandana to wear to show your involvement.
Even if you can’t get out and about, you can still get involved and raise money or awareness, whatever you can do will be a great help!
