Fairytale Farm will transform into a wonderland of light, colour and music this autumn when its popular Illuminated Evenings return from Friday 23 October to Sunday 15 November 2026.

The after-dark event will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as every evening during October Half Term from 24 October to 1 November. On each event date, the attraction will remain open until one hour after dusk.

New for 2026, visitors will be able to experience Journey to Alice's Wonderland fully illuminated after dark. Fairytale Farm's first ride takes guests aboard colourful snails on an indoor and outdoor journey featuring Alice, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar and Queen of Hearts.

Returning highlights include the Tunnel of Light, the Giant's Camera, The Extinct Band, Giant Party Poppers, Snow White's Castle, the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage, Jack's illuminated Beanstalk and displays throughout Dino Valley.

Families can also follow a gently lit Twilight Animal Trail for one hour from dusk. The limited lighting is designed to give visitors a special early-evening view of some animals without disturbing their normal routines. Some smaller animals and parts of the animal area will close at dusk.

Visitors can see the illuminations with a standard day ticket and stay for the lights at no additional charge; no separate illuminations ticket is required. Reduced standard admission will also be available on the gate from 3pm. Fairytale Farm Annual Pass holders can make unlimited return visits without an additional admission charge.

The attraction is also offering an optional, separately booked Illuminations & Supper Deal, combining entry from 3pm with a hot meal and drink from the Beanstalk Cafe and the illuminated evening experience. Package tickets cost £17.99 for adults and older children aged 11+, and £16.99 for children aged 2-10. Children under two enter free, without supper.

Supper choices include a traditional hot dog with crispy onions and sauce, homemade soup served in a bread bowl with a free refill, and a jacket potato with cheese and beans. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Nick Laister, Director of Fairytale Farm, said: “Illuminated Evenings give families the chance to see Fairytale Farm in a completely different way. As the daylight fades, the gardens, fairytale scenes and attractions take on a wonderful atmosphere filled with light and music.”

“This year will be especially exciting because Journey to Alice's Wonderland will be part of the evening experience for the first time. We have also kept the event accessible and good value: standard day visitors can stay for the lights at no extra charge, while our optional supper package provides a complete autumn evening at two clearly stated prices.”

Illuminated Evenings run from 23 October to 15 November 2026. Standard admission can be booked here. The optional Illuminations & Supper Deal must be booked separately here. Further information is available at www.fairytalefarm.co.uk.
