Sandcastle Waterpark is the UK’s largest Indoor Waterpark with more than 18 fantastic slides and attractions including Master Blaster, the longest Indoor Roller Coaster waterslide in the world. There’s something for all the family including Thunderfalls family waterslides, Ushi Gushi Action River, Aztec Falls waterslide and Typhoon Lagoon wave pool. The Caribbean Storm Treehouse, Fort Riptide, Treetops Water Chute and HMS Shipwreck provide fun for our very young visitors. With an adults only Spa area, a private Cabana for those who want to enjoy a VIP experience and much more, Sandcastle Waterpark is a great day out for all the family.
Additionally, new initiatives continue to be Introduced, these include the new Access For All section of our website which features a comprehensive range of Information for guests with Mobility requirements, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment and Autism. Our new "Sandcastle Waterpark Story" has been designed to allow guests to familiarise themselves with our Waterpark before they arrive. Similarly, our Top Tips for guests with Autism has been designed to clarify exactly what facilities and provisions are available for guests with Autism. Sandcastle Waterpark also hosts a year round program of Accessible Family Evenings to allow guests with disability and additional needs and their immediate families to enjoy our Waterpark without all the hustle, bustle and noise of a standard operational day. We have also recently partnered with Access Card which allows the relevant card holder to receive one free essential companion admission on production of their card.

Autism Friendly
We appreciate that visiting a Waterpark maybe a daunting prospect for some guests with disabilities and their families. With this in mind Sandcastle Waterpark hosts Family Accessibility Evenings each month. These are held under special conditions to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit for guests with disabilities and additional needs, their parents, brothers and sisters
No music played and no announcements made at these events.
Guest numbers are capped to ensure minimal queuing on the slides and attractions
Our team of Water Ambassadors are on hand to assist guests and their families wherever possible
A selection of floatation devices are available to use on a first come first served basis
Our quiet/sensory room is located within the Waterpark and is available to use at these evenings.
Use of our Changing Place Facility and additional poolside wet rooms
Totally designed for guests with disabilities and additional needs to offer some quality family leisure time, guests will need to book in advance by telephone to guarantee their place at these popular sessions. Sandcastle Waterpark is located on the South Beach area of the promenade (postcode FY41BB) which is equipped with a council pay and display car park. This is a very busy car park at weekends and during school and bank holidays. The nearest alternative car park is on Yeadon Way (postcode FY16BF).
BUS
The number 1 bus will take you along the promenade and stops outside Sandcastle Waterpark. Blackpool Transport Services have an ever growing fleet of modern, Accessible buses which operate on this route.
TRAM
Blackpool’s world famous Trams stop outside Sandcastle Waterpark (Blackpool Pleasure Beach stop). The tram way and it’s trams are highly Accessible and comfortable

The nearest train station to Sandcastle Waterpark is Blackpool Pleasure Beach station (approximately 10 minutes walk) or Blackpool South station (10-15 minutes walk)
