We’re the people who create revitalising holidays for disabled people and carers. And we want you to have the absolute time of your life! We think a great holiday takes you out of yourself and it can be an adventure, or just a rest, or a new experience with new people. 

Our Location

Revitalise Sandpipers is located in Southport, Merseyside. 

Perched proudly on Marine Lake is Sandpipers, a perfect waterside location from which to explore the north-west. And at the end of a long day of exploration, enjoy a relaxing dip in the heated hydrotherapy pool and admire stunning views from the lakeside balcony.

Expert care support 

We know that arranging care for you or your loved one can be difficult. In every Revitalise holiday centre, we have a team of Registered Nurses and Holiday Care Assistants that will take time to get to know you and your care support needs. We are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission and we support people with every type of condition, including multiple sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. 

Carers are welcome to join their loved ones on their Revitalise holiday or can enjoy their own break elsewhere, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands 

Fully accessible

All Revitalise holiday centres (Jubilee Lodge and Sandpipers) are purpose built and fully accessible. There is specialist equipment available for those that need it, including hoists, profiling beds and airflow mattresses.

Sandpipers is across two levels with an accessible lift, with facilities and amenities including: 

- All guest rooms are ensuite shower/bath rooms

- Licensed bar and entertainment area 

- Tea/coffee area

- Heated indoor hydrotherapy pool

- Full service restaurant 

- Hair and therapy salon 

- Internet access and WiFi 

- Sun terrace with balcony overlooking the Marine Lake and Gardens

- Souvenir Shop 

Access to the North of England and beyond

Bustling cities, rural scenery, picture perfect seaside towns. This is the region that has it all; the only question is where to visit first!

Head for the bright lights of Blackpool, famous for its tower and promenade. By day, you’re in one of the country’s most traditional seaside towns. By night, you’re dazzled by sparkling illuminations and an electric atmosphere.

Then there are revolutionary cities like Liverpool. Full of grand listed buildings, where you can hear The Beatles resonate from every street corner. And Manchester, an exciting city that bursts with character.

And when it’s time to switch off, look no further than the Lake District. Gaze over the same views as William Wordsworth and be inspired by the rolling hills, gloriously green meadows and glittering lakes.

Guests can expect a minimum of four excursions for a seven-night break.

In-centre activities

Don’t fancy going on an excursion or just want to enjoy a day at the centre? As well as taking advantage of the heated indoor hydrotherapy pool, Revitalise Sandpipers offers a great range of in-centre activities to enjoy. Relax and find your inner zen with our arts and crafts sessions, get moving with our accessible Zumba classes or sing your heart out with our live evening entertainment! With everything from Michael Jackson tribute acts to visits from members of your favourite soaps, there’s something for everyone!
