The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence went ahead on 17th August in an online ceremony celebrating the hundreds of tourism businesses across the UK. Several of Tourism for All’s members were shortlisted and the following took home awards.
A new map to help motorists locate disabled access parking bays in Bath has been produced by Bath & North East Somerset Council. There are dozens of disabled access parking bays located across the city, but as a result of the introduction of social distancing measures a number have had to be temporarily suspended.
Face coverings have become mandatory in shops and other enclosed spaces, including public transport in the UK, but there are a number of exemptions and different rules depending on where you are.

2nd until 8th August marks International Assistance Dog Week, the worldwide acknowledgement of the work done by organisations and charities that work to connect assistance dogs and those that need them.
A number of Tourism for All members have been named as finalists in this year’s Awards for Excellence 2020 hosted by VisitEngland. The finalists will now go forward to compete for the tourism industry’s annual national Awards for Excellence.
