Weekend of Coronation Celebrations at Clarks Village

Clarks Village is set to get into the coronation spirt with a weekend of celebrations.

The premium Somerset shopping outlet will be hosting a range of coronation features including a musical playlist of Britain’s most iconic artists, floral decorative selfie spots, food stalls, garden games, competitions and exclusive coronation memorabilia – all at discounted outlet prices.

During their weekend shopping visit, guests will be invited to sit back and relax on summer deckchairs within Clarks Village’s stunning landscaped gardens and soak up live music from Southwest busker Conor Smith or try their hand at bean bag toss, giant Connect4, table football and table tennis.

Surrounding the Central Square Gardens and in the Pear Court area will be the outlet’s delicious market food stalls Chickies Gourmet Scotch Eggs, My Greek Fat Wraps, Village Bite Box and Bubble T along with the newly opened Load ‘o’ Waffle. They will be joined for the coronation event by Beckford’s Rum, which will showcase its award-winning produce, and Sean the Chef with tantalising sweet treats and bakes.

A new, beautiful floral pergola bursting with colourful silk flowers has also been installed at Clarks Village, while the popular floral swing which made its debut last summer will also make a comeback, offering idyllic backdrops for a coronation selfie. The Insta-worthy displays have been created by floral designer Shilpa Reddy and will be in-situ until June 4.

During this weekend, younger guests will be able to enjoy a ‘colour the crown’ competition in the Clarks Village guest services hub with a chance to win a limited-edition Emma Bridgewater King Charles III decorated mug. Guests also have a chance to win a delightful Emma Bridgewater Coronation Teapot on Clarks Village’s social media channels. Meanwhile, the outlet’s musical playlist will be switched for a ‘Best of British’ theme and The Grange entrance will be lit up in traditional red, white and blue to welcome guests during the weekend.

And, if that’s not enough, Clarks Village will also be home to whole host of coronation eats, treats, decorations and memorabilia across the outlet’s 90 brands, offering up to 60% off RRP.
