This Autism Awareness Week, the National Autistic Society is hosting a huge virtual events encouraging you all to take part in a seven themed challenge – from wherever you are in the world! You don’t even need to leave your house!

With the continuing restrictions around the pandemic, this year’s event is all happening online, so we can continue to keep safe, while still raising awareness and much needed funds during Autism Awareness Week, which takes place between 29th March and 4th April.

According to the National Autistic Society, 1 in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults in the children and UK alone. This number has inspired the challenge for this year’s event, The Super 7 Challenge in support of the 700,000 autistic people living in the UK. You are encouraged to take on a 7 themed challenge, whether that’s running, playing an instrument, making food or taking on an artistic project. You can choose anything you want to help raise funds during World Autism Awareness Week.

Registrations for the Super 7 Challenge are open now, so join in the challenge and raise awareness by signing up here.
