Autistic Pride Day is a celebration of neurodiversity and people on the autistic spectrum and this year, takes place on 18th June. Autistic Pride stands for a pride in autism and acknowledging the changing attitudes towards those who have neurodiversity.

To celebrate this year’s Autistic Pride there are a whole host of events taking place all over the UK from picnics to parades to online lectures, all being held in accordance to the latest government guidance on social distancing.

Autistic Pride Day was created by Aspies for Freedom, an autism rights group that aims to educate the general public with initiatives to end ignorance of the issues involving the autistic community.
