Enjoy some festive fun this Christmas season and add these dates to your diaries!

Many of our members are starting to release the dates for their festive activities and events, here are our suggestions for fun things to do over the next two months.

Crealy Theme Park in Devon have a variety of festive celebrations on selected dates from 27th November until 24th December. The park will be lit up with decorations and festive attractions including a new ice show and entertainment.

Over the festive season you can find Santa’s Toy Shop, a magical journey through Santa’s Toy Shop with a free gift for every child, a chance to see Santa in his parade throughout the day and you can meat Buddy and Blossom at their Christmas Bash!

Crealy has been designed for guests with additional access needs firmly in mind. The park has flat and tarmacked surfaces throughout and all restaurants and shops are wheelchair accessible. The park has accessible facilities and the majority of the rides and attractions are designed to be fully accessible to disabled guests.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is hosting a series of events through November and December. From 18th December until 9th January over selected days is their Winter Illuminations Light and Lantern Festival. A regular event at this time of year, the Winter Illuminations are bigger and better than ever with four enchanted worlds to journey through. In December, the park has their Christmas Fair running on the 11th and 12th and the 18th and 19th December. Full of festive stalls offering fun gifts and entertainment as well as entry into the wildlife park included, this is a great day out for the whole family.

The wildlife park has made every effort to make the park accessible to all guests. The majority of the pathways are level and all are accessible to wheelchair users and there are seating and rest areas throughout, as well as regular wheelchair wash stations.
Where possible, the animal enclosures have ground level, glass viewing panes, for those using mobility aids and there are toilet facilities located throughout, including accessible and Changing Places facilities.

Paultons Park 

are welcoming Santa and his friends to the park’s stage, festive decorations at Peppa Pig World and seasonal rides and attractions. Santa will be performing in the Christmas Wish Show which will be taking place daily and then later in the evening, there is a chance to see the park’s Christmas tree. The tree plays festive songs and is the centre of a light show, starting every 15 minutes. New for this year, Tornado Springs has had a little make over and you can visit Peppa and George, who will be all dressed up for the winter season.

There are a range of accessible facilities on offer at the park. Peppa Pig World is designed to be fully accessible and the majority of the rides are designed to accommodate disabled guests. The restaurants and shops are wheelchair accessible and there are ample accessible toilet facilities. See more information here.
