People with hidden disabilities will be offered additional support when using public transport on the Isle of Man after the Sunflower Scheme is introduced.

Passengers who would like extra support can display a lanyard, badge or pin. Charity Disability Networks praised the introduction, saying that it would now make travelling around the island a bit easier.

Isle of Man Transport has said that it would work with staff and customers to make sure that the scheme was widely recognised and that ongoing awareness training was to be provided.
