Purple Tuesday, the UK’s accessible shopping day, takes place on 2nd November 2021 and Clarks Village in Somerset, which already prides itself on its accessible shopping facilities, is supporting the national campaign.
Clarks Village works hard to make sure that the outlet centre is accessible for everyone and has a number of onsite facilities including accessible toilets, Blue Badge parking, quiet hours, staff that are trained in aiding those with autism and hidden disabilities and hidden disability landyards available for customers.
On 2nd November for Purple Tuesday, Clarks Village will have pop up stands, awareness guides and merchandise located around the village to show their support for the initiative, as well as holding dedicated quiet shopping hours and purple lighting. Various stores at the outlet will also be taking part, so make sure to visit them on 2nd November for an accessible shopping experience like no other!
